Fish, fish and fish – of different kinds, shapes and forms. The Italian fish restaurant “Acquamarina” in central Copenhagen doesn’t have much else on the menu - and rightly so.

The head Chef John Leslye Toro is creating true art with his innovative and tasty fish and seafood menus, leaving the guests with nothing more to wish for.

Acquamarina restaurant only buys in the best fish; it is very, very fresh and 95 % of the ingredients are organic. Many of the Danes visiting the restaurant are here experiencing fish in a way they maybe haven’t done before; carefully cooked “the Italian way” and prepared with fresh herbs and spices.

The team behind the Michelin awarded restaurant Era Ora, opened the fish restaurant “Acquamarina” in 2008 and it has become one of the most popular restaurants in Copenhagen.

The talented designer Edelvita Santos is the woman behind the beautiful and stylish restaurant interior. The floor makes you think of a soft, blue sky and the golden light from the big lamps and the details in blue, white and brown are together creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every little detail has been carefully thought of – even the plates with their white art work are a delight for the eye.

Acquamarina restaurant hosts a lounge with wine bar and Italian tapas each Friday and Saturday from 10 pm-Midnight – a great start of a wonderful evening in Copenhagen!
